About Decatur Predator Hunts
WELCOME TO DECATUR PREDATOR HUNTS!
What this hunt is:
This hunt is located in the small, North Texas town of Decatur. Hunters will participate in a 24-hour hunt and maximize their points through the demise of coyotes, bobcats, and wild hogs for cash. Hunters can also win cash through 3 side pots: heaviest coyote, bobcat, and most headshots. Proceeds will go to Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation and Wise County Youth Scholarship Fund.

I am the creator of Decatur Predator Hunts and I see myself as a very passionate person about hunting and really all things hunting. I graduated from Texas Tech University as a Civil Engineer and love that hunting has become not only a passion, but a hobby. I have hunted all my life and have always wanted to be a part of something that is bigger than myself. Something that helps other people through something that I love to do. If any advice, help, or tips are needed, I will be happy to answer anything from anyone.

How do we enter a team?
You can enter a team at Warhorse Weapons off of HWY 380 in Decatur by filling out an entry form and paying either cash, PayPal, Venmo, or running your card through our Square POS terminal we have setup there. PayPal is Maury.folsom@gmail.com and Venmo is @mauryfolsom
How do we check in?
At the top of each contest flyer, there is a kick-off location and a weigh in location. 264 Private Road 2453, Decatur, Texas. All hunters must be present for kick-off and weigh in. We will have items for sale and an auction at both events.
Do you have to enter into the side pots?
You do not have to enter into the side pots. If you do, total monies due is $360 with 3 side pots at $20 each(heaviest coyote, bobcat and most head shots). So $300 entry fee and $20 per side pot for a total of 3 side pots.
